The updated design also improves walkability and reduces noise off the bike thanks to a slimmer profile. Shimano cold-forges and heat-treats these cleats for exceptional durability and stiffness, ensuring reliable performance even in harsh riding conditions. They use the 2-bolt pattern, offer 4 degrees of float and release with a smooth outward heel twist. They are backward-compatible with all Shimano SPD pedals.
